Seriously . . . two kind of amateur mistakes . . .

Yeah, I've said it before, will say it again, the school board sucks when it comes to transparency. Half the time I can't figure out what is going on cuz I don't spend half my life following the school board and you shouldn't have to just to know what is going on. They have a meeting on Saturday that wasn't in the school board week ahead this week because they finally sent the notice out late Wednesday (50 hours in advance of the meeting) and there's the agenda tbd for the "department", another agenda, and the real agenda.

Another week . . . more meetings . . . here's what is on-line this morning, expect it to change, watch the schedule.

Ok, I didn't go to the meeting, took this all off the MABAA listserve - here's a summary of what I learned about the bus fares that will be going up. (Yeah, you thought that issue was dead, didn't you - and just about everyone else!)

Vacation slowed me down . . . so I can do 80% . . .

19 of 33 meetings this week are starting before 5pm - who has time to take off of work to be there? Is this a good way to have a residents participate in their local government?

The "doing" is more talking than anything, but I'll let the State Reps explain!
