HUD wants has some lofty goals of ending homelessness, some communities are taking this task very seriously. HUD is issuing statements about guidance of what they expect to see. In permanent supportive housing, HUD wants us to prioritize chronically homeless persons. Will we?

Board of Estimates today, Board of Public Works Wednesday and probably approved by council a week from tomorrow. So, if you're interested in how much you pay and how and when and why, you might want to read this.

There's just not much out there today to round up . . . and so much to try to cover tonight!

Real meeting times this week - 7am, 8:30am, 3:45, 1pm, 7:45 am, 9am, 2:30pm and 8:45. You can't make this shit up . . . that's about half the meetings during this short week. Zero regard for the public.

The spin is killing me. Saying there are a "few concerns" but a lot of good news is pure bullshit. After 10 years of constant cuts and flat funding (essentially cuts as costs rise and funding stagnates) for non-profits that are the work horses of the human services system, this is nearly laughable . . . or cryable.
