Walker's fuzzy math?

Here's what I know, will update when I know more.

No meetings today, 4 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 1 Thursday - of the 10, 5 of them are before 5:00.

Yeah, right. Looks like it will be a busy week updating the following, cuz you know there isn't really only 11 meetings this week. This really sucks.

In what seems like is happening almost monthly in WI, another election day is upon us. Tuesday August 9th is the partisan primary...

A dozen meetings . . . Human Services priorities, presentation on the annual audit, who needs to fill out a statement of economic interests, law enforcement grants and which parks fees are going up this year?

We'll see what gets cancelled today, but here it is for what it is worth.

1 person on the ballot for City Alder District 8 6 school board candidates vying for 3 seats with 1 unopposed and 2 seats contested, including a primary 24 current county board supervisors unopposed, 8 new supervisors will walk on without having to win a contested election, 3 of the 11 vacated seats have races and 2 incumbents are opposed.

Today at 3:00, tomorrow at 7:00.

This email came to me this morning and I thought it was a good summary of where we are at. Not my words, but someone experiencing it. From his perspective, things look really bleak going in to winter. Not necessarily new, but the promise of change, the hope of things getting better . . . may have made things worse for many.

A few Edgewater incidents and the Mayor's bike trip in Europe have inspired the City Ethics Board to start making changes to their ethics law. Many of you know I sent an open letter to the Ethics Board about the state of ethics in the City of Madison. And, I got some results!
