Rosh Hashana is today, so the schedules look a little unusual as they juggle to avoid meetings today and scheduling meetings during finance committee meetings on the budget.

Committees will have new faces this week with the new alders and switches in assignments . . .

Watch out, they're sure to add important meetings throughout the week.

This is day 20 of my video taping the current events. The last 24 hours were clearly the craziest. Twice I was told I was risking arrest during the last two weeks, but nothing happened either time, and in the end, justice prevailed, for now . . . here's what happened in the last few hours.

The Common Council Organizational Committee's agenda yesterday "Discussion of issues surrounding the community and the Madison Police Department" was held. Chief Koval apparently couldn't be bothered to show up. Neither could any of his supporters.

So, we have money for affordable housing we can't use? We can figure this out, can't we? So. tired. of. excuses. Make it a priority and figure it out.

Homeless out on the streets for Christmas because it is not less than 20 degrees outside? It worries me this time of year that is stressful for people in the best of living conditions.
