Since I'm here- this is the short story. Not making any promises here. Half paying attention.

Took a while to get quorum . . . . they pass items 1, 2,3, 5, 6 and 9, 4 and 10 were requested to be separated and the rest had registrants. And here we go! This one will be everything except the budget.

I'll update this throughout the day. The deadline is at 5:00 today. Yesterday, there were three new candidates that filed, one against Marsha Rummel, two against Brian Solomon. And yes, Solomon filed yesterday, the only incumbent left . . . Paul Skidmore.

I'll try to make a long story short . . . speak tonight or forever hold your peace. Or email, email, email and call your elected officials, because after tonight, even though they haven't finished the budget, there is no more chances to speak! (And even tonight I'm not sure you can speak on everything in the budget, it might just be certain items.)

Steven Coleman, Peng Her and Anita Weier running. This race had a strong contrast in style and presentation of the candidates as well as experience.

You have until Feb 15th, next Tuesday to fill out the on-line survey, last chance to give public input tomorrow. Some of the concerns I've heard about the input process follow, as well as details on how you an give input.

Here's a copy of the complaint. It names Jeff Fitzgerald, Scott Fitzgerald, Mike Ellis, Scott Suder and Doug LaFollette as defendants. And, it asks to find them in violation and make their action void.
