Only two meetings tonight - evaluating the Superintendent and Referendum

It was a whole hour long press conference with a set of awesome speakers. We have an active an engaged community on this issue, but with reluctant leadership in our police department, there is no one to engage with. Listen (and watch) as they lay it all out for us. Several call for Koval to resign. All make it clear that what we saw last week, police beating a young woman, is unacceptable.

So, I'm sick, but I can't skip this . . . so it will be whatever it is . . . probably brief.

Room is filling up fast for the meeting before the meeting, will be interesting to see how it will be by the time the council meeting starts. Also, of note, one of the staff members, who is directly in charge of several of the items on the agenda, just says to another person with a slightly evil laugh "funny how the important issues all end up on the same agenda". Who the hell is in charge of this?

Very confused, when my dvr started recording there just did item 11, not sure what they did with it . . . they passed the rest of the agenda except items 12 & 13. They adopted items 1 - 10. Then went on to James Doyle Square and the budget.
