Mayor Caught in a Lie?

During the meetings on the bench ordinance, the mayor spoke multiple times saying some things that made no sense. He also put them...

City Week Ahead

Shitshow as per usual. Hard to tell what is going on - 5 committees missing agendas, 2 in legistar not on weekly schedule . . . do any of our elected officials care that the public can't tell what the hell is going on unless they are an insider? Do the insiders even know? It's absurd you have to look in 2 places to put together one week's worth of agendas and the info is all so confusing and incomplete. Please ask them to be more transparent and fix this! allalders@cityofmadison.com and mayor@cityofmadison.com

Today’s exercise in stupidity . . .

I'll be in court tomorrow, but I wanted to get this in writing in case I'm not allowed to speak.

Kyle drew a little attention with his post questioning the Mayor's role and promises with the protests on Monday. Blaska vowed to get to the bottom of it. I had already asked and got and answer from Soglin but not the police and shared that with Kyle, so Kyle made a clarification . . . but here's what Soglin said.

Recall Repercussions

The results were in this summer with the democrats flipping two seats in the Senate recalls. While the republicans lost two seats,...

My Neighborhood Is a Nightmare

Politically, that is. My alder, at the last minute and without consultations with anyone, wants to up-zone it tonight at the plan commission . . . which is making me think again what a disaster this situation is. It's definitely an only-in-Madison situation.

City Weekly Joke Ahead

Who knows if this is anywhere near what meetings will actually occur this week.

Dignity Village

This is the oldest/longest running of the villages.
