Downtown parking is going to be messed up for weeks now . . . a simple "request" to have people move their cars isn't going to work. This is absurd.

Some day I will perfect the skill of being in two places at once and it won't take me three days to blog one meeting! Here's the final amendments.

Stupidest thing about cramming everything into the council meeting last week is that they have one again this week. 4 of 16 (25%) meetings before 4:30, 12 of 16 (75%) meetings before 5:30. Looks a little light, expect lots of changes.

I don't recall seeing any information about public presentations or input . . . did a committee review applications? Who's on that committee? Who all applied? What other projects were considered? Where could one find such information?

So, I posted about the strategy on downtown snow removal and the snow emergency zone (SEZ) and my unhappiness with it. I'm largely not affected, but annoyed as hell. People probably don't understand why, but its because of the attitude of staff about it and their unwillingness to do anything different. Here's a few examples of that attitude, and why I get so annoyed.

Ooops, I thought I posted this . . . this is from a few weeks ago I went to the Urban Design Commission Wednesday night for 2 projects and the most interesting one was the one sandwiched in between them.

It seems Alder Mark Clear will be withdrawing an amendment that would take money from community services for a consultant for the BioAg Gateway.

Nearly 30 meetings this week . . . and they always add more . . .
