I didn't even know this was an option, probably a budget saving measure for the Mayor's budget, which he's first handing out instructions next Tuesday. And the staff will have about a month to come up with a budget that is in compliance.

Ooops, there's a plan commission meeting tonight . . . yeah, that's a major miss on the weekly agenda. I wonder, how is it legally noticed now? 4 meetings added for this week in the last two hours.

Tomorrow is the Big Day: The Big Share! An opportunity for us to demonstrate support of nonprofits building a fair, just community and protecting our environment. The Big Share includes lots of great Community Shares of Wisconsin Organizations, including the Tenant Resource Center.

Keyboard totally being random . . . so I got this the best I could.

Yeah, that was proclaimed loud and clear by a local Downtown Business Leader at the Plan Commission. No, not before Walker was elected, but just last night.

I hope many more neighborhoods are finding time to do this, but the timeline was really short to get feedback. I'd say they should hold the meetings even if they miss the deadline, as the discussion will continue for the next few months.

The intrigue after the elections turns to who is running for President and Pro Tem and who will get what committee assignments. And they seem to be moving fast!
