Mayor’s Budget Hearings Start Next Week

He really wants you input, so he's giving you plenty of notice of the meetings that start Monday and holding them in a month where the most people can attend.

Racial Disparities Implementation Team Work

I'd kept half an eye on the Dame County Task Force on Racial Disparities in the Criminal Justice System, but my interest and hope...

Last Minute Changes to Edgewater TID Rushed Through Plan Commission

Last night was one of those nights that sucked to try to cover things in city hall. I managed to catch part of Landmarks, part of Plan, part of Landmarks again, park of Plan again and none of Board of Estimates. And, the kicker, my TiVo died so I couldn't compensate. Boo. I took a look at the endorsement list and was surprised, found out some folks were improperly listed and so I thought I'd look at the campaign finance reports, because support there is unmistakable. And of course, I found more interesting stuff that I expected. And I'm wondering, do these folks all support his ICE policies? Many of the names, of course, are the same.

Slow/No Wake Zone for Lake Monona

I probably should have posted this over the weekend . . . since it started on Saturday.

The Partial City Week Ahead

I wonder how many meetings will be held this week, that they haven't told us about yet. Here's the one that are noticed at the moment.

Library Costs Incurred to Date

We seem to have consultants and experts and lots of activities, and surprisingly low "costs incurred to date". Somehow, I think she...
