Sigh, low income people aren't criminals. Plenty of criminals (drug dealers, wife beaters, thieves, drug users) live in Maple Bluff too. But neighborhoods really get concerned when they hear that low income housing is coming tot heir neighborhood. Here's a preview of what the council will be hearing tonight about a project on the northside.

Sorry, I've been 2 - 3 jobs at Tenant Resource Center since last August and blogging has become a luxury . . . . I see a light at the end of the tunnel, but I"m half expecting to get hit by a train. I hope to be back to more regular blogging by budget season . . . but we'll see. I have 28 days of vacation to use up!

It only took 3 hours, 14 candidates, 2 rounds of voting and 8 alders to decide. In the end, the 14 candidates were reduced to 8, 3 made it to round 2.

I can't believe how irresponsible Soglin is being in talking about the Occupy site. I wish he had visited it to see for himself and taken the time to meet some of the people staying there and find out about who they are, so he'd know how offensive his statements are
