Another week gone . . . chilly weather on the way . . . October is here.

She wants her free trips worth "thousands of dollars" and hundred dollar meals cuz the alternatives are a "nightmare". Health care, I could at least understand, this, is just, wow.

Fighting Poverty Coalition, Madison Urban Ministy, Community Action Coalition of South Central Wisconsin, UTI (Union de Trabajadores Inmigrantes), Take Back the Land - Madison, Freedom Inc, Progressive Dane and our many and growing coalition members are speaking up, because this is unacceptable.

We have been chronicling how the fiscal conservatives are breaking the bank, now we see it "trickling down" to the Dane County Board....

Let's count the ways he is petulant, condescending, belligerent, disrespectful of the people WE elected - and by extension, to us, the public he is allegedly supposed to serve. He all but says that while he is already doing everything they recommend, he doesn't believe they should be telling him what to do and he won't implement their suggestions, but that he will wait for OIR and the Ad Hoc Committee (about which he complains as well).

Yup . . . its that time of the year again . . .

They are elections a new council President (Samba Baldeh?) and Vice President (Sheri Carter) and thanking outgoing President Marsha Rummel. They will be hearing from the police chief on his quarterly report and I'd be surprised if they didn't talk about F-35s . . . but I've been surprised before!
