You know how I pick on the city from time to time about silly meeting faux pas . . . well, the county outdid them times 100! Check this out . . .

Well, they have a new location. The neighborhood is up in arms, of course. And public officials are scrambling to figure out what they want to do. Here's the story.

Why do I have a cold this time of the year? This is stupid. Anyways, slept in since I worked til 11:00 last night, so my blogging will be slow this morning.

This is one of the many meetings I didn't make it to last night, but here's some of the information you might be interested...

Sigh . . . 3 within the 1st hour and a half of business Monday morning. 5 total today. About 20% of the meetings weren't out last Friday. They need to start calling it "About 75% of the Weekly Schedule".

This bothered me so much, I did a survey, with the help of Matt Kozlowski. Our survey results of 27 of the 40 - 60 people are below. Does it match what the mayor has been saying? Spoiler alert! NO!

As reported to the EOC . . . which recommended that they needed more information before making a final recommendation on body cameras and did not accept the report of the committee.

Last night the Board of Estimates was supposed to make a decision about which of the two remaining developers to choose for Judge Doyle Square? What would our starting point for the millions of dollars of TIF and city assistance be? Not a single member of the public showed up to give input. Not. one. So, they decided to keep both in the running and have a PUBLIC interview with both candidates.

Only 16 meetings - 7 are before 5pm. More to come I'm sure . . .
