It is 40 pages long . . . here's the main recommendations at this point- it may or may not be what gets passed tonight, I'm not clear as I think there is another substitute resolution coming. Good news is that if you have input, its a SHORT agenda for tonight. Will the council bend to the will of the Chamber of Commerce or will they vote for the people of Madison who are most impacted by this decision and the environment? :( I hope I'm wrong about my prediction.

Services will continue through October and hopefully beyond! While Madison Homelessness Initiative is backing off after creating and running Project Bubbles for 5 years - volunteers are stepping up with time and money for it to continue, perhaps with changes.

Sorry, I've been kind of delinquent on the county end of things, my social life was in overdrive.

The city's budget is complex, and yet provides little information. Each department budget has lots of moving parts, and in order to have it properly reviewed, the public needs to get involved! If you have a special interest, try looking at just the budget for the department involved! And then let them know what you think! The more eyes, the better the budget!

It's not just me pointing out that the republicans, led by Scott Walker, want to privatize(and profit from) public education. Let's take...
