3 days, 17 meetings, 2 cancelled, 5 held at times people with day jobs can't attend and XX? will be added on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Geez, 5 changes already Monday. . . one today

No. school. board. candidates. except. incumbents. None. This needs some sunlight.

Only 4 of the 13 meetings before 5:00 . . . how do county board supervisors with day jobs participate in their own governing structure?

Seems a little light, 17 meetings, so watch for "Mo' Meetings" later this week . . . but perhaps it just that the schedules in the fall are jam packed and this is the lighter time of the year.

There are 40 seats up for election between the Dane County Board and Madison School Board only 4 of the seats are being challenged. And once again, people who have never run for election are walking into seats. What these two entities have in common, is that they rarely get regular coverage from the Wisconsin State Journal and other other media outlets (who mostly get their news from the Wisconsin State Journal).

Filing deadline is tomorrow and out of 37 potential county board races, there are currently . . . four. 3 known retirements from the board. 89% of the county board supervisors are likely to skate through another election, unopposed. No contested races for 3 of the 7 school board seats?
