How the County “Partners” with Non-Profits it Underpays

United Way: Hates the Tenant Resource Center

Yesterday, we finally got to see the scores, but not the full detail, of the RFP were Tenant Resource Center lost their funding. And any tiny morsel of faith I had left in the process was destroyed. How is this a fair process? Ask your elected officials!

Changes to TRC Services Starting January 1

So, there are many changes afoot at the Tenant Resource Center. Sadly, our once seamless services are about to get messy due to our many small contracts. In summary, here is what changes January 1st.

After waiting for 3.5 year for the Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection to update their regulations, to be consistent with tenant-landlord laws passed by the state legislature - apparently they have . . . and apparently, the went a little further than just making their laws consistent! And apparently (how embarrassing) the laws became effective 11-1-15 and I just figured it out yesterday!
