As reported to the EOC . . . which recommended that they needed more information before making a final recommendation on body cameras and did not accept the report of the committee.

Is this the best we can do? 48 hours and 18 minutes notice on a meeting about community policing and Body Camera Ad Hoc Committee? You gotta be freakin' kidding me. What kind of a public process is this? Certainly not "robust" in any sense of the word.

Ok, not many of the departments got covered in the meeting that went til 11:00 last night, so all the rest will be doing their initial presentations today. And then the alders are off the races, asking questions, proposing amendments and tinkering around the edges.

Streets, Parking and Engineering were sent home to come back tomorrow. They have a 10 minute recess. It's currently 20 minutes to 8:00, they will probably start budget at 8:00.
