I moderate some of the comments on Forward Lookout, and there are some that do not get through, let's review why . . .

Why do I have a cold this time of the year? This is stupid. Anyways, slept in since I worked til 11:00 last night, so my blogging will be slow this morning.

I'm not kidding. You can be the media . . . radio, tv, blog . . . your choice! It kind of sucks to...

I wish I had more time to dig into this issue, but here's what I know . . .

This is an awful policing tactic, why bother with evidence and probable cause and all those pesky rights and due process afforded people in our criminal justice system if you can just accuse them of something they have not done yet and get them deported without letting them have an opportunity to defend themselves . . . and this time, its not the Sheriff, its the Madison Police Department . . .

Hmmm . . . major labor group doesn't recommend sheriff for endorsement due to his ICE policy . . . I'm glad someone is...

I'd kept half an eye on the Dame County Task Force on Racial Disparities in the Criminal Justice System, but my interest and hope...

I took a look at the endorsement list and was surprised, found out some folks were improperly listed and so I thought I'd look at the campaign finance reports, because support there is unmistakable. And of course, I found more interesting stuff that I expected. And I'm wondering, do these folks all support his ICE policies? Many of the names, of course, are the same.

I'm sure its no coincidence that the Mayor's memo and the police department memo came out in the same day, but the police seem to completely ignore the mayor's request for a 6% cut, as usual. Cuz, you know, they're special, they get whatever they want. Which is a compromise of only 20 more officers (instead of 34) and millions more for their training facility cuz they botched the original budget.

Neighborhood Walk , June 17th at 7 pm - Heistand Park

Yesterday, I was annoyed by the addition of 12 meetings to the weekly agenda, today, there are only three more. Including big news at the Overture and police department input. However, that is a record 15 meetings added. How are people supposed to participate in local government when notices of meetings go out 24 - 48 hours before the meetings start?
