Changes faster than the Wisconsin weather . . . see what has been added . . . .
The weekly schedule for the City of Madison has become a joke. More comments at the end of this post . . . here’s what was added/changed in the last 24 hours. None of this was noted on the schedule that was posted on Friday and up all weekend.
CANCELLED
1. Commission on the Environment was cancelled yesterday due to Yom Kippur. Why the clerk doesn’t take care of that when that is the city policy is beyond me. I think the Southwest Joint Campus committee met in violation of that policy.

What’s the point of sending out a weekly schedule and posting it, if its essentially wrong? 14 changes in 24 hours. Plus, CDBG and Office of Community Services scheduled their meetings about priorities for funding at the exact same time. I don’t know about others, but at Tenant Resource Center with a staff of 6, with two of us in Steven’s Point and work to be done at two offices, how are we supposed to cover these meetings of great interest to us?
As an alder, it is your job to keep up with all the changes and it was annoying trying to plan and juggle everything. As a member of the public, I find it misleading, in some cases manipulative and in others, just sloppy and/or disrespectful to the public.
