- Recreate the vacant position #1297 and the encumbered position #3742 of 0.8 FTE Customer Service Ambassador in CG16, Range 04 as 1.0 FTE Customer Service Ambassador positions within the Customer Service Ambassador classification.
- Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Dane County for the provision of access by employees to Metro Transit fixed route and ADA paratransit services, with reimbursement by Dane County to the transit utility for rides taken by Dane County employees for three years from and including the date the agreement is executed by the Mayor. This agreement will automatically renew for an additional two years under the same terms and conditions unless amended or terminated by either party.
- Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a parking lease agreement with Arts & Literature Laboratory Inc. for five parking spaces at the South Livingston Street Garage. (District 6)
- Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to sign a seven (7) year non-competitive service contract with TK Elevator Corporation for the maintenance of elevators in the Wilson Street Garage. (District 4)
- Authorizing the City Clerk and Mayor to enter into a competitively selected service contract for a one-year term with four annual renewal options, for a total of five years, with The Psychology Center SC for employee mental health and wellness services.
- Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to amend the competitively selected service contract with REDI Transports, LLC for ongoing emergency detention transport services
- Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to sign a five (5) year non-competitive service contract for up to $60,000 annually with Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, Inc. for the Law Enforcement Advocate Partnership (LEAP) (2025-2029).
- Amending the Police Department’s 2024 Operating Budget; and authorizing the Mayor and Chief of Police to accept a FY2024 USDOJ Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant for $88,319, and to utilize these funds to support several law enforcement initiatives.
- Amending the Police Department’s 2024 Operating Budget; and authorizing the Mayor and Chief of Police to accept a FY2024 USDOJ Office of Community Policing Services (COPS Office) Community Policing Development Microgrant for $136,398, and to utilize these funds to evaluate to Department’s stratified policing business model for community engagement and proactive crime reduction; and authorizing a sole source contract for services from Santos & Santos, Ph.D, Inc. to evaluate the Department’s stratified policing business model.
- Authorizing the Parks Division to submit, and if awarded, accept a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the Madison LakeWay Project, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to accept the grant award, and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a Statutory Partnership Agreement with Madison LakeWay Partners Inc. (District 13 and District 4)
- Amending the Public Health Operating Budget to Accept WI Department of Health Services Grant Funding for a 1.0 FTE Disease Intervention Specialist to Support Linkages to Care for People Who Use Drugs
- Amending the 2024 adopted operating budget for the City of Madison Fire Department to accept $520,384 of grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program.
- Authorizing a net-neutral budget amendment to the Parks Division’s Adopted 2024 Capital Budget and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter a five-year noncompetitive purchase of goods and services agreement from CemSites as a sole source provider for Cloud-Based Cemetery Record Management Software for Forest Hill Cemetery. (District 13)
- Authorizing the Parks Division to submit and, if awarded, accept a grant of up to $24,000 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Surface Water Grant Program, if awarded, amending the Parks Division Capital Budget and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to accept the grant award (District 19).
