– Representatives from Elevate Energy will provide an informational presentation on the “Cool Choices” online initiative and answer questions from Common Council members.
The City of Madison is leading the way in energy efficiency and has been selected as a semifinalist to compete for the Georgetown University Energy Prize (GUEP), a nationwide competition between small- to medium-size towns, cities, and counties to reduce energy consumption. Under the City’s already-established Green Madison moniker, the City will endeavor to win the $5 million energy prize to use toward our city’s future sustainability efforts.
