SUBSTITUTE Resolution to change the name of the Madison Local Food Committee (Local Food Committee) to the Public Market Development Committee, add seats to the Committee, and specify the Committee’s mission as focused on implementation of the Madison Public Market.
Revising the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) to reflect program changes recommended by the Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission to increase flexibility of program application when working with disadvantaged neighborhoods.
Amending the “Regulations Governing Vending on the State Street Mall/Capitol Concourse” to create a demerit point for missing a day of the Food Cart Review, to modify the rules for a food vendor to move into another food vendor’s unoccupied site, eliminating the rule that Mall/Concourse food carts cannot be moved with a vehicle until after 2:30 p.m., and making various housekeeping changes regarding Food Cart Review point tabulation and appeals.
Amending Section 9.13(6)(e)7.c. of the Madison General Ordinances to allow coffee that is locally roasted to meet the definition of “personally prepared food” for purposes of Mall/Concourse Food Vending.
