– Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Don Miller & Schappe Building Demolitions. The City plans to demolish all improvements on the following properties: 801, 802, 815, 854, 819 E Washington Ave. and 806 and 820 E Main St. The properties will be demolished to grade, and all foundations, concrete, and asphalt will remain in place as a cap over known soil contamination. Asbestos abatement will occur prior to demolition on a separate contract. Estimated cost is $188,000.

Another canceled Landlord and Tenant subcommittee meeting. So, when exactly is the Housing Committee going to be reconstituted/reorganized again? There are lots of issues with landlord/tenant, homelessness, fair housing and affordable housing development that demand City attention!
