I’m sitting here staring at my computer, having just watched the video of the woman from Minnesota who’s boyfriend got shot and the tips on how to interact with police, and pictures of Hector Rivera – and an hour has gone by . . . and my brain is just a scrambled mess. How did we get here? Tips for the public about their rights isn’t going to stop the killing.
