Walgreens, Overture and dogs.
These are the items separated for discussion . . . thus far. I fear Pham-Remmele may have something else up her sleeve . . .
35. Legislative File No. 19058 – SUBSTITUTE – Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City staff to negotiate with the Madison Cultural Arts District and to recommend a plan for the City’s role in the long-term viability of the Overture Center, to include certain elements in any plan, and to present the City’s role in the plan and any city agreements to the Common Council for approval. (Report of BOE – Ald. Jed Sanborn, D. 1)
57. Legislative File No. 19042 – Creating Sections 10.056(5)(h) and 23.315 of the Madison General Ordinances to prohibit animals from specified street use events, require notice of prohibition and establishes a penalty for violations of this ordinance. (Report of Downtown Coordinating Committee – Ald. Mike Verveer, D. 4 for purposes of proposing a Substitute Ordinance)
66. Legislative File No. 19129 Indicating the City of Madison’s interest in partnering with Dane County and our municipal neighbors to develop, build, operate and maintain a state-of-the-art countywide radio communications system that would allow – but not mandate – full interoperability. (Referred to this meeting – Ald. Mark Clear, Council President, for purposes of re-referring to future Common Council meeting)
I suspect this will be one of Pham-Remmele’s targets:
34. Legislative File No. 18565 –Accepting the 2010 Madison Public Market Site Analysis and the recommendation that the Government East Parking Ramp be selected as the preferred sit for the development and the city enter into an agreement with Common Wealth Development for planning.
