Week 17 update and upcoming volunteer appreciation event. 2 weeks left and then . . . unknown.
WEEK 17 UPDATE
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from your neighbors at the Daytime Warming Shelter!
Today begins week 17 of this project, which remains slated to end on March 31 (15 days from now).
As we round this corner, towards the end of being neighbors, we are spending time to review our challenges and successes. We genuinely appreciate all the feedback from businesses, neighborhoods, and others throughout this project – it has been a positive experience to be able to problem solve and attempt to cure situations. Thanks, again, to our great partner in the Madison Police Department.
Keep your eyes out for an upcoming Volunteer Appreciation event.
Thanks,

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION
We Appreciate YOU!
Join us! Daytime Warming Shelter Volunteer Appreciation Reception
March 28th at 1:30-3:30 pmPlease join us at the Daytime Warming Shelter as we appreciate all who have contributed in some way to the Warming Shelter to help make it a success.
Our time at the Warming Shelter will be coming to an end on March 31st. We have had a good 4 months building community, growing and transforming.
So much of the success of the Warming Shelter has come from the volunteer efforts of people who use the center, and also people from the community coming in to share their time and skills. Whether you have cooked a meal, led a group discussion, donated goods, filled in where you were needed, or helped in another way, you have helped make our efforts possible!
Please join us so we can honor and appreciate You! If you have not yet volunteered, we welcome you to this special event, as you to are a part of our community.
Thank you,
Hope to see you then!Sarah, Z! and Nate
