Subject: FW: URGENT NOTICE: Streetlight outage TonightAs MGE notes below, they will be working on their primary system at Butler-E Washington today and Tuesday. Therefore, we will not have power tonight for numerous streetlights on the near east side, including various parts of the following streets on and between the Square and Blair St:
1. E Mifflin
2. E Washington
3. E Main St
4. E Doty
5. 100 block Wisconsin Ave
6. Pinckney St (Doty to Dayton)
7. S Webster St
8. Butler St (Wilson to Johnson)
9. N Hamilton (Pinckney to Johnson)
10. Franklin St (Johnson to Wilson)
11. Hancock St (Johnson to Wilson)We explored trying to power the lights with portable generators, but neither the City nor MGE have the generators to provide the proper voltage that is required for these lights. MGE advises that the power will be restored on Tuesday, so this streetlight outage will be for one night only.
