WHOA NELLY!
So, Eisen has a good article on the Mayor’s leadership on the Edgewater and Library. Mark Clear rushes to the Mayor’s defense.

GOOD ATTITUDE
Too bad the Edgewater folks didn’t take this same approach. Clear however seems out of the loop.

HOW’D GREYHOUND LAND WHERE THEY ARE
From Chuck Kamp, from Madison Metro:

We (Metro) provided Greyhound with 3 options and encouraged them to use Huxley St. by the North Transfer Point because of its good bus connections. I also gave Greyhound Dave Bruns’ contact info to check out space in that area given the good Metro bus service connections in the larger area around the NTP. But the other two options, which also have good bus connections, were 1st and E. Washington (I gave them the name of the realtor to contact about that space), and E. Washington and Baldwin ( I gave them the contact at Mullins to see if they want to lease space there).

Hmm, sounds like at least someone knew what was going on.
