Get Deputized to Register Voters

Special Registration Deputy Training -5 PM Wed. June 11

Special Registration Deputies (SRDs) can register voters up to 20 days prior to an election, but to do so they must be certified by the municipality where they plan to register voters. To learn more about what SRD’s do check out this link on the City of Madison web site: http://www.cityofmadison.com/election/deputyRegistration/index.cfm

The Dane County Clerk will offer Special Registration Deputy (SRD) training, including training on the new proof of residence requirements at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11 in Oak Hall of the City Hall of Fitchburg, 5520 Lacy Rd.
Various municipal clerks will be there to certify attendees after the training.

This will be a good opportunity to become certified for several municipalities without having to drive to the different Clerk offices.

If you are interested in being a Special Registration Deputy and plan to take the June 11 training, please RSVP to this e-mail at the LWVDC link below by June 9.
