A rally, city and county meetings all coming up in the next week or so!
So, here’s my show from this weekend on Immigration, the Sheriff and Ice with guests Shiva Bidar-Sielaff and Ramona Natera. I special thanks to them for coming in when there was so much going on! (Just ignore the error in the beginning where it says something about the Edgewater, I PROMISE, NO EDGEWATER!) If the embeded video below is not working, you can click here.
As for other things going on, here’s what I know at the moment.

There’s a facebook group here that you can join with great information about how you can support Alder Bidar-Sielaff’s resolution to end unjust immigration policies right here in Madison.
The Common Council will be considering her resolution (still by title only, but hopefully out soon) at their meeting. May be another late night!
NOTE: Here’s the link to the full resolution and supporting materials.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2nd
The Dane County Immigration Task Force will be having their meeting to finalize their report and determine what policy they should recommend (and the sheriff says he’ll ignore) about calling ICE for every person who was not born in the United States, even if they have identification.
