  1. The Weekly Meeting schedule is not the official one per Michael May & Roger Allen. It is for convenience of all the interested citizens. The official one is posted outside city clerk’s office with the agendas.

  2. Of course, that is true. The clerk’s office posts the items on that board then adds them to the weekly schedule. It’s much more reliable than what you find in legistar here: http://legistar.cityofmadison.com/calendar/#current (But you can sometimes find the information there first.)

    The note on the bottom of the weekly schedule notes: Disclaimer: Committee meetings are added to this weekly meeting schedule once the agendas have been posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Law. Agendas must be officially posted in the City-County Building at least 24 hours in advance. If you plan to attend a meeting tomorrow but do not see the meeting listed on this schedule, please call the City Clerk’s Office at 266-4601.
