Jail Resolution OFF THE AGENDA for Mon. and Thurs.

We’ve been told from many sources that the jail resolution would go to Personnel and Finance on Monday and the County Board on Thursday, but the special meeting on Monday has been cancelled.

In light of the requests by several supervisors to slow down the process and continue working on Res. 556, I have decided not to schedule a special meeting Monday.

PP&J and HHN passed different version of Res. 556, and I know several supervisors continue to work on refinements/revisions.

This is tremendously important work that deserve careful consideration and ample time for review.
