I’d like to see a copy of the referendum question, but I generally support this idea. We’ve seen time and again the destructive effects of unbridled and unregulated corporate influence on our elections and the democratic process – some of the nastiest ads are often the product of undisclosed corporate contributions. Our ability to exercise the right to free speech shouldn’t depend on our ability to make large campaign contributions.
