This one is easier to do, since there is so little news. This round up goes back to last Friday, so 7 days of local round up . . . you ready? Kinda sad this is a whole weeks worth, used to be so much more that the daily round up was full without all the state stuff. The poor county gets so little attention, particularly the county board. The schools are generally only slightly better. And the city, well, it has better coverage, just not much making the news as the council members try to be boring and agendaless in favor of just working on parochial issues in their district instead of working on a vision for the city.

How is Dane County supposed to do its planning for growth, its been a issue for years. Before Falk left, she called to disband it. Parisi sticks with it, but wants to give them 3 years to figure things out. Dunno that I understand what is going on enough to have an opinion on this one, and goodness knows that we aren’t going to get those details from the papers and at the county, everything is done in private behind the scenes, so I don’t know how to find out more at the moment except by talking to some of the players, many of whom have their own agendas. This is a tough one.
