Contract 9360 is for the construction of public improvements by the Developer, Mortenson Development, Inc., that need to be constructed as part of their phase of the State Street Campus Garage Mixed Use located at 415 N Lake Street. The City of Madison will complete Phase 1 of the project which will consist of the parking garage pedestal and the majority of surrounding public improvements in N Lake Street and Hawthore Court. This will work will be completed under separate public works projects. The Developer will complete Phase 2 of the project which consists of the multi-unit residential to be constructed above the City parking garage. Due to timing and area needed to facilitate construction the Developer will need to complete public sidewalk, street terrace, street trees, and street lighting as part of their Phase 2 work. The drive aprons for the project will also be part of this phase of construction.
