The United Way recently gave about $800,000 to over 50 agencies for eviction/homeless prevention. If you are a renter, where will you apply?Honestly, after doing eviction prevention work (services and dollars) for 22 years, I don’t know what to advise. Maybe there’s a plan somewhere? Do people try to apply everywhere? Are agencies covering certain populations? Geographic areas? Have different criteria for who to expect? It’s the wild, wild west of eviction and homelessess prevention dollars!
