This item is on the Council’s agenda for tomorrow night (Agenda Item No. 41). Our office is aware of concerns over the potential reach of the ordinance in its current form. A Substitute prepared last week still has issues that we need to sort out.
Because of this, we have asked the sponsors to refer the matter to the City Attorney for further review, with a report due back at the Council meeting on August 7, 2012.
