Talk, study, talk, study, talk . . . lets see some action! This meeting could be a place it gets started, for real. Or not. Maybe.
Last April we heard a report about racial disparities in the Dane County justice system from the Task Force charged with investigating and implementing. The Implementation Team will meet with Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne, Sheriff Dave Mahoney, Clerk of Courts Carlo Esqueda and Chief Justice William Foust to see how they plan to reduce racial disparity using funds that have been allocated.
They need to know that this is an important issue for Dane County citizens. Please attend.
When: Monday, March 28 at 5:30
Where: City-County Building, 210 Martin Luther King Blvd
Who: Dane County Implementation Team on Racial Disparities in the Criminal Justice System
Is this meeting open to the public?
If a public body, the implementation team is having the meeting, then yes! it is an open meeting.
Thanks. Is there some public notice somewhere confirming that the meeting’s really happening? I couldn’t find info on any of the county websites.
