Wow, I was involved in the Edgewater early on as alder, and even I learned about what was going on in this article.

It is great that Soglin gave her access to the files.  I do want to know where the $10,000 for PR materials came from in the Mayor’s budget.  I see that as being about the same as the cost of 3 Summer jobs for High School students and certainly there was no shortage of PR materials from Hammes.

    Mayor Cieslewicz was in on Hammes Company’s fake neighborhood association?

    It would be interesting to see “The
    mayor’s office .. score sheets of where alders
    stood … whether they were “yes” or “no”
    votes.
