Wow, I’m so proud to know both people who came to the rescue and saved the life of a woman who was distraught over potentially being evicted by the CDA. a landlord not renewing her lease.
Sadie used to work at the Tenant Resource Center and James stayed at Occupy the last time we were at 800 E. Washington – and you will find him as a regular fixture in front of or in the City-County Building. Proud to know both of them. This video is awesome.
The story is that a woman was distraught after visiting the CDA and Sadie knew something was wrong and followed her to the Monona Terrace where she was going to jump of the ledge and Sadie grabbed on to her and held her and yelled for help and the only person to come forward was a James – a homeless person. They explain how this affected them and James explains why he helped.
