Til Friday at noon. We had ours done by noon today, as did many of our neighbors. The streets tho, wow . . .there’s just a path plowed down the middle still.
Due to the magnitude of the snow storm, the deadline for clearing snow and ice from public sidewalks has been extended to 12:00 noon, Friday, February 4, 2011. Ice that cannot be removed must be treated with sand to provide traction. The City provides free sand at the locations listed in this link: http://www.cityofmadison.com/sand
Even though the deadline has been extended, it is in your best interest to remove the snow as soon as possible before it is packed down by pedestrians. If you are able, please help your neighbors that may be incapable of handling this snow event.
You should move to my rinky dinky cul de sac off McKenna. It was completely plowed out by 2 p.m. yesterday! I was impressed.
Hey, our rinky dink dead-end on Van Hise was plowed at 7 AM Wednesday!
