Was there a pathetic turn out yesterday? Do the results mean anything?
There were about 3,000 less people who voted in Madison yesterday. 3,000 less in Dane County as well. Was it the protests and rallies, was it the lack of an interesting Mayor’s race? Or a combination? Was it just a sign of the cynical times? Or something else?

SO, WHAT UP MADISON?
Given that the population since 2003 has grown and there were still 3000 less votes, primarily in Madison, why were there less voters? Did you vote? Did you notice that at the rallies yesterday, not one speaker mentioned voting? Not. One. We’re in this mess at the capitol because people don’t vote, or don’t vote informed. Walking around and talking with people, there were many stories of people who voted for Walker, but regretted their vote now. It’s something to think about. Will you be voting in the general election on April 5th?
I talked to some union guys who had bussed in from up North; they didn’t even know there was a supreme court election.
