What? Try again! Did the headline writer even read the first sentence . . . or was this wishful thinking by the WSJ editors? Here’s what it says:
The Madison School Board voted unanimously Monday against supporting an expansion of the State Street tax incremental financing (TIF) district that would deliver $16 million in public assistance to the proposed $98 million Edgewater hotel redevelopment.
Oh my god…fixed now.
It took them three hours . . . but they fixed it. My guess is they were either drinking in the office, or all the experienced staff were off watching the packers game and they just assumed that the school board would be in support because the editors are out of touch.
