Madison-Dane County Tavern League Endorses Wineke for County Executive
Small business owners rally behind Verona leaderMADISON – The Madison-Dane County Tavern League today announced their endorsement of Joe Wineke for Dane County Executive. The association represents more than 200 small businesses employing thousands of working men and women in communities across Dane County.
“Dane County’s small business owners are proud to support Joe Wineke for County Executive,” said Barb Mercer, League President. “Joe understands the significant impact our members have on the local economy, and we know he’ll be an outspoken advocate for small businesses across Dane County.”
Mercer commended Wineke for his decades-long reputation as an advocate for working men and women, calling him a proven fighter.
“As a member of the Verona City Council, and throughout his time in the State Legislature, Joe has always fought for small businesses and the working families they support,” said Mercer. “Joe Wineke is a proven fighter who has stood with our members for decades, and we’re proud to stand with him now in the race for County Executive.”
