It’s been a tough year and its getting tougher. The federal program that funded us was eliminated. The state eliminated our funding and then passed SB107 which selectively eliminates some local laws, making education incredibly important and difficult to educate people about these changes. We’re facing a $20,000 cut from the county (but reducing services because we can’t continue subsidizing $40,000 a year for the services we are providing) and the city increases never meet the actual increases in our funding. Luckily, we do have a 3 year contract with ASM (UW-Student Government) which will provide some stability and outreach money in this difficult time. So, once again, we have to ask the community to help us out, and we appreciate anything you can give. We promise, we will use your money wisely and frugally! It’s what we do! No frills here, just the basics!
