– The “Access to Power” Civic Forum will begin with a presentation about serving on city committees, commissions, and boards, followed by a presentation on voting and the new Voter ID law.
– Those attending the forum will then be able to register to vote, become deputized to register others to vote, obtain a certified birth certificate application and instructions for the state in which they were born, find out how to obtain a free ID for voting, sign up to become an Election Official, and apply to be appointed to a city committee, commission, or board.
