– 2010 Budget Amendments (I wonder where you can find these? Its not with the Executive Budget, or on the Dane County Supervisors page, or with current legislation, or on the clerk’s page . . . it might be there somewhere, but no where obvious. Shouldn’t there be a handy place to see the amendments that were submitted? It looks like they only put them up after Personnel and Finance has acted.)
5:30 p.m. PUBLIC WORKS & TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE …2302 Fish Hatchery Rd.
– Also discussing budget amendments, along with the Zoo, Facilities Management and Alliant Energy Center. Again, I have no idea where the amendments are that they will be discussing.
5:45 p.m. PUBLIC PROTECTION & JUDICIARY COMMITTEE…Rm. 315 CCB
BUDGET PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS

No mention of any amendments on this agenda. They will also be discussing Ord. Amend. 29, 2009-2010, Ch. 35, Huber Law Prisoner Fees (It’s on page 155 or type Huber in the search function and skip through the first few finds.) Huber prisioners get charged $17.08 per day for their confinement and it is half for people working 20 hours, which they are changing to 30 hours. Apparently, they are fixing some snafu.
7:30 p.m. ZONING & LAND REGULATON COMMITTEE …Rm. 309 CCB
– I’m sure there are items of interest here, but I don’t follow closely enough to know which ones are and of course, there are no links to materials to know what they are really considering. Check out the agenda for yourself.

– Continued discussion of merging POS agencies. Which ones? I dunno. I can’t see any materials to know what they are talking about.
6:00 p.m. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE…Rm. 310 CCB
– They will be discussing the 2010 Operating and Capital Budget Appropriations Resolutions (I think that means they are considering the budget at well, as the agenda instructs members to bring their copies of the 2010 Budget.)
– Moratorium on purchasing land (Page 77, for now, until they change the document, there are no links that will state consistent I can provide that I know of.)
– RTA Referendum (Page 56, see note above.)
7:00 p.m. DANE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS…Rm. 201 CCB
– This link has the entire packet, and note how early they get their agendas out, that is one thing they do better than the city! 4 full working days, instead of 2.

– I didn’t see anything of particular interest, but the whole radio thing will be of interest at some point.
These county board week ahead posts give me a real headache. The county “system” is really hard to follow and the lack of information easily available is embarrassing. Someone should run for County Clerk just to fix this atrocity.
