Well, learn how to do it yourself! As “management” I probably shouldn’t be encouraging this . . . but it would be awesome to have budding unions all over Madison! And those that have recently be destroyed by Walker need help too!
Madison IWW – Organizer Training
Sat. & Sun. – February 11-12, 2012
Having problems at work?
Want to know how to stand up against your boss and win?
The Industrial Workers of the World, a global labor union with two local branches in Madison, wants to teach you how!Our Organizer Training is one of the best programs in North America that gives working people the skills we need to demand dignity and respect in our workplaces and in our lives.
The training is a two-day intensive crash course on union organizing, grounded in the experience of IWW organizers across the continent. Participants can expect to learn skills and ideas about how to go from a place with no union to a public, democratic, fighting union that stands up for workers in their workplace and stands against the power of the 1%. The interactive training session is aimed at workers with any level of experience in organizing and prepares working people to take control of our own lives.
Join us and learn how to organize your coworkers and make a real difference at work through the power of solidarity!
