All the news you can . . . I was going to say use . . . but I’m not sure some of it is all that useful. Here’s what I’ve got. Well, that, and it sounds like one of the media outlets catch phrases.
POLICE JUSTIFIED?
Seems like the police department is standing behind their actions – trying to justify a disorderly conduct ticket since obstruction seems inappropriate. I bet this ends up costing us.
THAT’S WHAT I WAS WONDERING
Did VanHollen help with a cover up in the Kratz case? It kind of sounded like it to me. Saying that Kratz’s actions were “appalling” after the fact isn’t enough.
GOOD TO SEE DOYLE DOING THE RIGHT THING
I love lame ducks, they tend to do the right thing when given the chance.
I NEARLY FELL OFF MY CHAIR
Did I read that right? Key Dem supporting Manski . . . maybe there is hope progressives will not vote partisan.
NUDIE BAR DEBATE
Do nudie bars cause prostitution and drug issues in the area? That ought to be a good debate at the county board . . .
BUT WE WANTED TO
Apparently, not bad enough. Do you buy it?
WARF spokeswoman Janet Kelly said the foundation wanted to use the union workers, but there were a number of “legal and financial issues” standing in the way.
WHAT’S WRONG WITH SCOTT WALKER?
He’s acting like a spoiled brat. Treating jobs like a “colossal” joke. More here.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE REPUBLICANS?
Voter suppression masked as being concerned about vote fraud?
GRANDPA WEIS
Takes a stand! Kicks students in the butt, er iPhone. Think it will help? Here’s more on the issue.
ALL KINDS OF BUTT KICKING
Palmer tees off on Sconzie. Who seems a little off on several issues lately.
NO MEANS NO
Ed Hughes has to explain when they vote something down, that means they are against it.
(NOT) SCHOOL BOARD WEEK AHEAD
Not so helpful . . .
MONONA CAVES
Goes for the pointless referendum and waste of taxpayers dollars.
WELL, THAT’S OVER . . .
The recession, that is.
WORT TODAY
I’ll be interviewing Heidi Wegleitner about the People’s Affordable Housing Vision today at noon on A Public Affair on 89.9 FM. Also, we may talk about some of the housing issues on the council agenda tonight!
STAY TUNED
For some reason, I’m having trouble uploading my WYOU show from this week, I hope to have it soon. But, meanwhile, you can catch it on 991 or 95 tonight at 8:30 if you’re not watching the council meeting. Since you’ll be in the stratosphere, you can easily flip back and forth . . . this weeks show is Eric Sundquist talking about the Zoning Code Rewrite and why it matters to you!
