I have nothing brilliant to say about today’s elections except if you want to vote for the most (small p) progressive person in Subeck vs. Clear its a no-brainer, vote for Subeck. To call Clear a progressive is an insult. Of course, I don’t live in that district so my vote won’t matter there.
My other choices, well, I feel guilty voting in the Democratic Primary since I’m not a Democrat, but I feel guilty not voting, so . . .
AG – Richards (Happ a close second)
Lt. Gov. – gotta vote for Mary Jo! 🙂
Gov. – Can’t vote for Hulsey!

VOTE in the Wisconsin Primary Election on August 12
You can vote in Tuesday’s primary if you have lived at your current residence for 28 days. If you moved from one Madison residence to another within the past 28 days, you can still vote from your old residence address at your old polling place.
If you are not registered to vote, you can do that at the polls on Tuesday. To register bring proof of residence which must include the voter’s name and current address. Some examples of valid proof of residence: WI driver license or WI ID card, utility bill, bank statement, lease, paycheck, or any government document. Electronic proof is OK, such as my.wisc.edu…Student Center
You can check your registration, find your polling place, or see what races are on your ballot at https://myvote.wi.gov.
For information about candidates on Tuesday’s ballot go to the League of Women Voters of Dane County web site at http://lwvdanecounty.org/ or the WI Public TV/Radio site at http://www.wisconsinvote.org.
You must vote in only one party’s primary – no cross-over voting.
You are not required to vote in every race.
Voter ID is not required
Polls are open from 7am – 8PM.
